DOES MY LIFE HAVE MEANING ?

Every morning when you wake up, don’t you think how many people have lost their lives? And you are alive, you can see the whole world. You can touch and. feel it. You must be thankful to God for every single day of a beautiful life.

We put on a man’s tomb store that he was born on a certain date and died on a certain date. Between these two poles of time, we live our lives thinking that, does the life have meaning! There is a reason for our lives of suffering, rejection, pain, joy, hate, and love. We believe, the world is not perfect but, we humans are responsible to make the world imperfect. In Genesis, God created the whole world and he said “GOOD” seven times. Our origin was not a cosmic accident, it’s in the very hand of God who shaped us and breathes life into us. He chooses us when he planned creation. He is the one who determined the exact time of our birth and where we would live. we are not a mistake, we were chosen and loved, because we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Have you found true purpose and meaning of life?

It’s start with you being on time. We worry about everything and never being late on time like we do on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other games. It might not seem like a big deal but over the time, we will lack discipline and urgency in other areas of life as well. The discipline of being on time can make a huge difference in life. There is saying, “do today what you will thank yourself for tomorrow!” GOD was never delayed in sending Jesus at the right time in our life when we are powerless and sinful. He came in time. It’s not only on the page of history but in the story of our life. In Timothy 1:19, we can find; he has saved us and called us to a holy life not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of the time.

There are so many such people in our society who believe that it’s great to be alive, but here is the difference, your life is really for a living or just surviving? Don’t live your lives in the wilderness. Every living creature can survive. God has set the best example in Matthew 6:26, it says, look at the birds of the air, they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns and yet your heavenly father feeds them, Are you not more valuable than they? God has told us in Matthew 10:31, fear not, therefore you are of more value than many sparrows. You are made in the image of God. You are the sons and daughters of the kings of the king. You are so important that even the hairs of your head are all numbered. He is the complete expression of love; he is the provider and meets all our needs because he is our perfect father. So, here is a question for you; Are you living the abundant life that Christ promised, or do you merely exist?

No matter how great or perfect a person is in his career/life, he is worthless without Jesus because the bible tells us in Roman 8:37 that, we are more than a conqueror through Christ. We believe in one God who is perfect; who can turn impossible things into possible. God has a great plan for your future. He has promised you that he will never stop doing good to you. He can do more than you have ever imagined. He is the one who comforts you in your trouble. Your life has a purpose. You will find hope in him. He is a great encourager, and he has been faithful and is faithful. He gave his only son Jesus and the blood of Jesus has covered your sin who set you free to live like a righteous man which is more than enough. He said; my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You must understand that your weakness is simple opportunities for Jesus to reveal his grace in your life.

He made your life so easy that he carries your cross and crowned the throne. Don’t try to control the world instead, ask the holy spirit to come within you to control and use your life to impact, so that you can spread the love of Jesus, goodness, and mercy that influence the world around you and the time is now. It will totally change your life if you let him inside in you. You are a treasured possession and you are the child of God. Your life is not limited. Why? Because our God is an unlimited edition, and this is your identity

"He knew me in my mother's womb" Bir Bahadur Syangtan

Hello Jaimasiah, It's me Bir Bahadur Syangtan. I belong to Chaughare-1, Lalitpur. I want to share my faith story and testimony. I believe it would be encouraging for you. As Psalm 139 tells before I am formed in mother’s womb he knew already. I was born in a lower class family in which my parents used to struggle for our daily meals. I did my schooling in a government school, for that also my parents were having a problem to provide money for notebooks. My study was quite good and I used to be first in class. When I was in 8th standards, I got a small abscess on my back which becomes infected and gradually leads to chronic osteomyelitis (inflammation of bone or bone marrow usually due to infection). It was there for 3 years. My parent was so worried about me. They took me to a traditional healer and did a lot of Pujas as per ritual. It was not working so they took me to hospital. Doctors did their best to cure but it was not worth to recover me. Finally, when I was in 10th standards, it was my turning point that I came to know Jesus Christ the savior.

That was the vacation of Dashain. With complete hopeless and helpless, decided to visit my uncle house because I felt that was the remaining time of my life and I was going to die soon because of my sickness. I visited there and told my problem to my uncle and yes god was working through him. He told me about Jesus. He told that if we believe in him, we would have a new life which is eternal. We attended a retreat program and there I heard about a paralyzed man (whose both legs were not moveable) believed in Jesus and got healed and he was standing on his feet and sharing his testimony. I got stunned at that very moment and in prayer asked Jesus to heal myself from my sickness; if I got healed then I will follow you forever. We came back home and were having dinner and suddenly I got breathing difficulty. I was full of sweating and I felt that my body was swollen and also felt something very painful on my wound site. I ran to a washroom and as I checked my wound the small piece of bone appeared at the mouth of a wound. I pulled it out and called my uncle. I showed that to uncle and I still remember, he took that and rubbed on the wall and said: “Jesus has healed you, Amen”. From that day I believed Jesus and gave thanks not only for eternal life but also for physical life and I believe he gave me this life so that I can glorify him.

I came back to my village and my parents were very happy because once they were hopeless but hope was raised later in Jesus. I read the Bible during staying in an uncle’s home. I read Jesus healed many people and I got inspired so I decided to be part of his ministry i.e. healing. So, I decided to be a doctor but it was not possible due to my financial status. However, For God nothing is impossible. One day my primary teacher came to me and told he would help me with my intermediate level study because he knew me and my study. Since he was also Christian, my door to go to church is opened while staying with them. By God’s grace, I was a class topper in my intermediate (+2 sciences). Afterward, I joined medical entrance preparation class and I attempted the exam conducted by the ministry of education but I was failed. It was the first time that I failed in any exam. It's very disappointing to me and I was so depressed at that time. But God and his promise are always with us. At that moment, he spoke to me through Proverbs 3:4 (“Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man” Proverb 3:4). It encouraged me and I started to study harder and eventually got a scholarship in 2012 AD. I just recently completed MBBS in 2017.

Throughout that time, God continually guided and encouraged me. I went through the financial crisis but God is “Jehovah Jirah” he provides all the things I need. He trained me via many spiritual people during my Study. Now currently I am posted at government PHC, Surkhet. I believe he has the best plan for me.

Study BPH (Bachelor of public health) in Nepal

BACHELOR OF PUBLIC HEALTH (BPH)

It’s a four-year course. The course aims to prepare a student with all necessary scientific knowledge, technical competencies, and human understanding to work in various capacities from the community level to the central level health care programs. You can either join after 10+2 in science stream with biology or proficiency Certificate level (PCL science) or Certificate in Health Sciences or equivalent as recognized by the aforementioned universities with at least 50% in aggregate.

Entrance:  In case of the university, entrance will be taken for both 12 completed students and students with proficiency Certificate level (PCL science) or Certificate in Health Sciences

Question pattern: It is based on university rule but mainly they ask from Science, English and Health.

Cost: The cost ranges from 3 lakhs to 10 lakhs and it varies according to the universities.

FUTURE STUDY

There are several post-graduate programmes in the Public Health programme it includes a master’s degree to a PhD. These programmes are widely prevalent in the abroad countries but some initiations have been taken to start the PhD programme in the domestic country too by Tribhuwan university where there provisions for the master’s degree are already available. Also, there is the provision of two year course for the master’s degree in BPKHS.

SCOPE

l  The completion in BPH opens up a variety of scopes for the BPH graduates in Nepal.

l  The ones after passing BPH in Nepal can work as Public Health Officer in the government sector. They have the opportunities in becoming the Chief Public Health Officer.

l  There are a lot of organizations that feel the need of these BPH graduates.

l  Several types of governmental organizations or non-governmental organizations like the health agencies, hospitals, schools and institutions etc require these professionals for working with the  local community and individuals, working primarily with the school teachers for awareness as well as basic health facilities, administrating health education services  and preparing health workers in public health fields.

l  From these domestic level programmes excellent BPH professionals have got good scopes in the international organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children’s Fund and several other organizations like these.

वास्तव मा भन्नू पर्दा , मलाइ जसरी अहिले मानिस हरु आज देख्छन, म पहिला त्यस्तो थिइँन । जन्मजात नै हृदय रोग लिएर म जन्मेको थिएँ र मेरो परिवार लाई समेत शुरु मा थाहा थिएन यो कुरा । केही बेर खेल्दै, उफ्रदै र दगुर्दै मा म बेहोस हुन्थे अनि निलो भएर जान्थेँ। मेरो रोग के थियो भनी शुरु मा जानेनन तर पछि थाहा पाए कि मेरो मुटु मा छेड रहेछ भनी। तर भएको चाहि के थियो स्वः अज्ञात थियो ।

म जन्मेको परिवार ठूलो परिवार हो र हिन्दु वातावरण मा नै म जन्मेको थिएँ । इतिहास मा समेत मेरो हजुर बुबा र आमा शिव मार्गी र कृष्ण प्रणामी का थिए । ८ सदस्य हिन्दु र ३ जना मात्र ख्रीस्टियान भएका थिए । मलाई धार्मिक वातावरण एक्दम मन पर्थ्यो । तर धर्म को बारे मलाइ केही थाहा थिएन । फाट्फूट चर्च मा पनि लान्थे तर आस्था हिन्दु मै थियो । रिति रिवाज पर्व हरु मान्थे र देवि देवता माथि आस्था निकै राख्थेँ । उहाँ हरु का तस्बिर हरु सङ्कलन गर्थेँ ।
जिजस क्राइष्ट का बारे मलाइ थाहा नै थिएन । मेरो अङ्कल चाहिँ पहिले बौद्ध धर्म मा हुनु हुन्थ्यो र त्यसैले पनि आज सम्म बुद्ध प्रति भने सम्मान हामी कहाँ छ नै । उहाँ को ध्यान ले मलाई प्रभाव पारेको थियो । मेरो झुकाउ चाहिँ वैष्णव जस्तो थियो । सानो देखि रामायण महाभारत आदि हेर्थेँ । यस्तो रहेको थियो म जन्मदा र हुर्कदा को परिवेश ।

मेरो हृदय को रोग ले निकै सताएको थियो । कति स्कुल हरू  मा समेत मलाई लिन इन्कार गरेको थियो । तर पछि यतै घर नजिकै शिक्ष्यक हरु पनि हुनुहुन्थ्यो र चिन्जान भएको कारण नै नजिकै को स्कुल मा राखियो । मेरो रोग को कारण ले गर्दा पनि मलाइ धेरैले हेर्चाह गर्थे, माया गर्थे । पढाइ मा पनि राम्रै थिए । केवल मेरो यहि रोग ले गर्दा दिकद थियो ।

विभिन्न रिति रिवाज आदि मा सामेल भए तापनि  रोग निको भएर नयाँ जीवन जिउने कुराको कुनै आशा देखेको थिइनँ। म जति हुर्कदै गए, मेरो बुबा चिन्तित हुन थाल्नु भो । हामी हरू भारत को ब्याङ्लोर समेत जानु परेको थियो जहाँ तत्कालिन पुज्य साई बाबा थिए । त्यता रहदा पनि अस्पताल गयौ बुझ्यौ अनि साई बाबा को प्रवचन मा पनि सामेल भयौँ । तर पनि रोग को कुनै अन्त्य फेला परेन र नयाँ जीवन जिउने पनि आशा देखिन । अवतार मानिएका साई बाबा कहाँ पुगिसकेर पनि मेरो हालत जस्ता को तस्तै थियो । साथै उता को डाक्टर हरू ले समेत मलाइ १४/१६ वर्ष मा मात्र आउनु भने अनि फेरि नेपाल मै फर्क्यौ ।

जब मेरो रोग ले गर्दा फिक्री बढ्न थाल्यो तब यतै को गङगा लाल हृदय रोग अस्पतालमा मेरो भर्ती गरियो । पढाइ त अब छुट्ने भइहाल्यो , आफ्नो स्वास्थ जुन ठूलो थियो ।

यस अघि घर तिर चर्च बाट कति मानिस हरु मेरो निम्ति प्रार्थना गर्न आउथे । येशु को बारे सुनाउथे । सानो मा मलाइ चासो थिएन यस बारे। तर कृस्मस चाड भने रमाइलो लाग्थ्यो , अर्थ न बुझे तापनी। उहाँ को बारे कहिलेकाही पढ्ने त गर्थे तर कुनै प्रभाव पर्दैन थियो ।

तर एक दिन को कुरा हो… वानेश्वोर स्थित मामाघर बस्दा म मेरी  हजुर आमा सित साई बाबा को आरधना केन्द्र मा जान्थे । त्यहा एउटा तस्बिर देखेर म छक्क परेँ ! माहाभारत युद्ध शुरु हुन लाग्दा श्री कृष्ण ले अर्जुन लाई देखाएको विराट स्वोरूप को तस्बिर थियो। जहाँ धेरै देवता हरु को शिर गाँसिएको थियो । त्यस्को अर्थ त पक्कै सबै एकै हुन भन्ने थियो । तर त्यहाँ येशु ख्रीष्ट को शिर समेत देखेर म छक्क परे । अनि उहाँ लाई समेत प्रशंसा र महिमा गाउदै भजन गाएको सुने । र त्यही दिन बाट नै उहाँ प्रति रुचि बढ्न गयो । घर आउने दिन मैले भने कि " अब त मलाई पनि थाहा भयो कि जिजस पनि भगवान रहेछन" तर अङ्कल ले भन्नु भयो कि उहाँ भगवान होइन तर प्रभु हुनुहुन्छ । त्यस दिन देखि उहाँ को विषय मा जान्ने उत्सुक्ता पनि बढ्यो । बाइबल पनि पढे, चर्च का सदस्य हरु लाई विविध प्रश्न हरू गर्न थाले । उहाँ बारे जान्ने उत्सुकुता बढ्यो ।

जब म अस्पताल को कष्ट मय जीवन बिताउँदै थिँए मलाई निकै दुख लागेर आउथ्यो । मिलन्सार मेरो त्यस बेला को बानी ले गर्दा मैले धेरै मित्र हरू बनाउन सके । सबै सित रमाइलो गर्ने बानी मेरो थियो । मेरो लागि धेरै ले प्रार्थना गर्दै गरेका थिए । म आफै पनि प्रार्थना गर्थे । एक दिन जब मेरो बुबा ले मेरो लागि भनेर देउता चढ्ने कहाँ गएर मेरो लागि बिन्ती गरे तब उहाँ ले निराशा पाउनु भयो । पैसा बिना सहयोग गर्न न सकिने कुरा सुनेर झन उहाँ को मन निराश हुन गयो । देवि देवता हरू बाट पनि कुनै आशा उहाँ ले पाउनु भएन र निकै दुखित हुनु भयो । मेरो अवस्था यस्तो थियो कि मेरो बाच्ने न बाच्ने पक्का नै थिएन रे । मेरो निम्ति कति गरेर निशुल्क उपचार को लागि बन्दोवस्त मिलाइयो र रगत समेत मिलाइयो । निराश हुनु भएको मन लिएर बुबा घर मा हुदा उहाँ को मन निकै रुन्थ्यो । मेरो जीवन को निम्ति अब अन्तिम आशा जिजस बाहेक उहाँ के अरु कोहि पाउनु भएन। र अन्त्य मा निर्णय लिनु भयो र मलाई उहाँ को हात मा सुम्पिदिनु भयो । चर्च का सदस्य हरु ले बुबा को यो निर्णय सुनेर छक्क पनि परेका थिए रे । तर मेरो निम्ति एक्दम प्रार्थना चल्यो।

पछि बाट बिस्तारै बिस्तारै सबै खाचो हरू एका एक गरि पुग्न थाल्यो र उहाँ मा समर्पित गरे पश्चात् मेरो शल्यकृया समेत अन्त्य मा सफल भयो। रगत समेत न चाहिएको कुरा थियो । धेरै लाई मेरो विषय मा दर्शन देखाइएको थियो रे। ख्रीष्टियान विश्वाश मा दर्शन एक्दम गम्भीर विषय नै हो । म आज यस अवस्था मा हुनु को कारण येशु माथि को समर्पण नै थियो । उहाँ मा नै नयाँ  जीवन मैले पाएको छु। यसरी हिन्दु धर्म लाई हामी ले त्यागेर उहाँ लाई नै अङ्गाल्ने निर्णय गर्यौ । सुन्दा त अलि तीतो लाग्न सक्छ नै तर वास्तविकता यहि नै हो ।

मैले पहिले कृस्मस चाड जे सोच्थे म गलत रहेछु भनी थाहापाए । आज कतिले यो पर्व मनाउछन तर अर्थ जानेको नै हुदैन । येशु को विषय मा धेरै ले विदेशी धर्म आदि भनी हेला आज पनि गर्छन तर बाइबल पढ्दा थाहा हुन्छ कि यो विश्वास को जन्म थलो नै हाम्रै महादेश हो । र यो विश्वास कुनै जाती, सन्स्कृती सङ्ग आबद्ध छैन तर एउटै कुरा मा केन्दृत रहेछ- ख्रीष्ट नै मुक्तिदाता हुनुहुन्छ । मानव जाती लाई पाप को बन्धन बाट मुक्ती दिन पर्मेश्वर स्वयम् मानव भएर यस धर्ती आउनु  भएको एक अलौकिक घटना रहेछ । सारा मानव जाती को पाप को भार हरेर लान उहाँ मानव रूप मा बलिदान दिन आएका थिए ।

जब जीवन मा हामीले निराशा को बाटो भएर जानु पर्ने हुन्छ तब प्रभु मा नै हामीले भरोसा राख्न सक्छौ । हरेक को जीवन मा उहा्को योजना हुन्छ र उहाँ सम्म पुग्न उहाले नै मार्ग तयार पार्नुहुन्छ ।

What is light? Which colour light? Simply light is something which helps or guide to see. According to science, when the light reflected from any object and pass to eye, it gets visible. Day time, we see and understand the world cause there is a light and we need other artificial lights at night to view an object because there is no light. We everyone need light to survive in this world. Without lights, it’s getting difficult to live physically.

What about our spiritual life? What about the life without a light of future? It’s really too hard to live a life. The each day surviving becoming a year without insight. Where should I get a light or a way to live each day? Where is a hope to live? We are lost in this
world and walking a path where the destination is not known. I am not getting a right path a light to lead me to my destination. I need a knowledge, I need a light so I could understand and know the way to reach destiny my home.

Finally, I got a light. The light of this world. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12, Bible. It reveals a true light which can guide to reach my home. The Bible says “Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.” John 14:6, Bible. The only way to complete the journey of earth and get back home is the Jesus. Life is exhausting, fatigue without hope without direction. The life gets happier and healthier through Christ because he had promised to give rest in Mathew 11:28, Bible. Come Check and Continue with Christ. #C4

"Youth and A strong social media" by Joshana Baidya

Just take out your mobile phone and shot out with a right angle and right place with perfect filter, edit, witty caption and post it to your social media either Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, .....and on. An hour later.... Just 20 likes! What the hell? Whatever, I'm deleting it.

We youth are responsible and we all have been there. Sharing our feelings and emotions to the world. It became our culture. A question may arise- Why we do so? Probably, because we scroll all those pictures and statuses wanting and waiting to live better lives than others. We combat our feelings with photos, statuses and loneliness with LIKES. All those things we shares are of the world. They are not real. Even they are not happy with their life, they updated their statuses like; feeling happy, joyful, love, refresh...and so on. They are creating a fake world.

Wants to bring a joyful life every day! We watched movies and listened to music. Feel that songs and movies are great. Oh! Look at that Harry styles. How about Taylor? They are the wizard. We wished to be like these celebrities or any other talented person. Influenced by their personalities. If we can't do anything, we feel ourselves as an unloved, lonely, junk, jerk, imperfect.... But we never think, who we are? Why we are here? And what are our purpose? We must ask these questions because we all are created in on purpose and for a purpose.

Here in Jeremiah 31: 3, God has told us, "I've loved you with an everlasting love". We don't have to work to be LIKED when we are already LOVED. God promises us in Matthew 28:20, "I'm with you always even to the end of the age". Jesus is the only one who promises fullness of life and gives it. We just need to put our faith in him and obey his commandments. In Jeremiah 29:11, God has promised us to give hope and future. We can see the blessing and miracle from him as in Samuel 17:45-50, how a shepherd become a king, 2chronicles1:11-12, how a small king became the wisest and the richest man, in Matthews14:29, how a fisherman was able to walked on the water and lead a church movement. Eventually, Happiness isn't defined by what you do, but by whom do. So, God is in us. That's what makes us SATISFIED. Isn’t this an EXCITING news?

Muslims Are Finding Christ Through their Children

Muslims displaced by ISIS are embracing Christ after hearing the Gospel from their own children.  A ministry director at a refugee camp in northern Iraq told Christian Aid Mission that recently 600 children attended a program put on by the ministry where they received Bibles and heard the Gospel.
Many of the children were so excited after the hearing the Gospel, they decided to tell their parents about the Jesus they met. One of those children is a 10-year-old boy named Mahmood who decided to give his life to Christ after one night of the program. "That night, we asked the kids to go tell their parents about what they had heard and share the story of Jesus with everyone," the director said. "Mahmood's father came the next day complaining to us about our influence in his kid's decision to accept Christ."
As a Muslim, the boy's father was afraid of what would happen if the Muslim community inside heard his son say, "I became a follower of Christ.""His father had never heard a word about Jesus, so he gave us the opportunity to tell him about Christ and His salvation," the director said. "Not long after that, he accepted Christ and took  Bibles for his wife and two daughters." Mahmood's family's lives were never the same again.  "Mahmood's father now has a Bible study in his house every Friday at 10 a.m. - the Muslim prayer day" the director said. The ministry team risks their lives to share the message of God's love and Bibles to such a devastated region. For many refugees, the only hope they find is in the message of Christ their children bring home from Christian humanitarian aid workers. 
The ministry director is calling on Christians everywhere to ask Christ to restore broken hearts and a broken country.  "We pray and hope that all the followers of this religion will turn to Christ soon," he said. "Please Pray."
